Copenhagen
Hospitality Industry

Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Copenhagen area.

Copenhagen is far enough north that in summer months it is still quite bright outside in the late evening hours. Every large city seems to have some blighted area where the less fortunate congregate, but Copenhagen somehow has managed to accommodate seamlessly all levels of its society in health, cleanliness and safety, eliminating a lot of the unpleasantness found in other towns. Everyone is so busy enjoying their health, humor and youthfulness, of which Danish beer is most certainly an integral part, that dysfunctional behavior is rarely seen in public. Even in the bawdiest taverns frequented by the sailors, it is unlikely that you will witness any violence, loud or really offensive language, or have to maneuver around any casualties. Breakfast is included in many of the hotels, and also will become one of those lasting memories. Typically, a selection of hard boiled eggs, herring, other meats and raw vegetables is offered, which provides the inner warmth and stamina appropriate for this northern climate. Whether it is the abundance of daylight, or the unusual civility and friendliness of the residents, Copenhagen will remain in the memory as a place of light and innocence.
